Republican Sunday flipped the role by defeating his Democratic opponent Eugene DePasquale with a margin of 51.2% to 49.5% with 94% of votes counted, numerous outlets reported.

The current AG, Michelle Henry was not running after being appointed by Governor Josh Shapiro to fill his shoes when he was elected Governor and vacated the AG role in 2022.

"Dave received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Penn State University in 2002 and graduated from Widener Law School in 2007," as stated on his campaign website.

He served in the Navy and worked as a legal intern at the United Nations, where he was assigned to the Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

He went on to clerk for the President Judge of the York County Court of Common Pleas.

Dave has been a prosecutor with the York County District Attorney’s Office for over 15 years.
